Proposal for Operation Development (POD)
Proposal for Operation Development (POD)

Proposal for Operation Development (POD)

Once the project has become eligible, the project team prepares the Proposal for Operation Development (POD), which includes a detailed analysis of the key elements of the project. The document is then sent for Quality and Risk Review (QRR).

The following resources will help you understand what a POD is, what information it contains, what steps must be followed for its approval, and who is involved in this process. You will also learn how to proceed in the event of a critical condition within the project and determine whether it should be included in the loan agreement as a special condition, among other issues.
