Module 1. Introduction to Digital Transformation

1. Identify the technologies that are transforming the transportation sector. 2. Distinguish the most common applications of digital transformation across transportation subsectors. 3. Recognize digital transformation as a response to current challenges in the transportation sector.

Module 2. Opportunities and Challenges of Digital Transformation

1. Identify success stories and best practices in digitalization of transportation. 2. Associate digital transformation technologies with competitive strategies of transportation companies. 3. Recognize digitization as a tool for optimizing transport operations. 4. Recognize the risks of cybersecurity, interoperability, vendor lock-in, privacy, exclusion, and social conflict, when implementing digital transformation in transportation.

Module 3. International Benchmarks for the Transformation of the Sector

1. Recognize the gaps between the regional context and the leading peers in digital transformation of the transportation sector. 2. Identify the differences between the public and private sector, in terms of the advances of digital transformation in transportation. 3. Recognize the importance of public policy actions to accelerate the benefits of digital transformation. 4. Distinguish various instruments for the definition of public policies in a framework of uncertainty in the digital transformation of transport.

Module 4. Self-Assessment and Roadmap for Digital Transformation

1. Self-assess the state of transformation of the transport sector in one's own context. 2. Examine the structure and key elements of a roadmap proposed for the digital transformation of the transportation sector. 3. Map out plans, agendas, support and regulatory frameworks, that impact the digital transformation of the region's transportation sector.
