Ninth meeting RedCUIDAR+: A Future with Care, Steps towards Implementing Long-term Care Systems

The Inter-American Development Bank, the French Development Agency and the EUROsociAL+ Program of the European Union, in collaboration with the government of Costa Rica, are pleased to invite government representatives from Latin America and the Caribbean to the ninth meeting of RedCUIDAR+.

The meeting will focus on reviewing the advancement of countries within the region in constructing and consolidating long-term care systems, with a specific emphasis on:

• Service modalities that assist older people with care needs to stay in their communities, in line with their preferences;
• Training of caregivers;
• And the importance of public investment in this area.
