Senior Advisor in the Office of the President at the IDB, with over 20 years of international development experience. Previously a Regional Director at the Inter-American Foundation and Executive Director at IAC, she focuses on economic development for indigenous and Afro-descendant communities in Latin America. She developed Brazil’s first private-sector eco-development fund and holds a master’s in poverty alleviation from MIT, where she received the Carroll Wilson Award and a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship.

Chief of the Fiscal Management Division at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) since 2019. A Mexican citizen with a PhD in Political Economy from Columbia University and a bachelor's from ITAM. He has held roles at the IMF and Mexico's Secretary of Finance, managing subnational debt, tax regimes, and fiscal programs across Latin America, particularly Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay.

Previously, she was Director of Strategic Growth at PolicyLink, focused on equity in Federal policy. Shaibya has degrees in political science, public policy, and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

She serves as the Gender and Diversity Focal Point for the Fiscal Management Division, overseeing gender mainstreaming in fiscal projects. She has led initiatives supporting women in public procurement and organized high-profile events to promote innovative trends in the field.

Dr. Leak is the Deputy Director for the Office of Racial Equity in Washington, D.C. He has extensive experience in local government and academia, focusing on policies and programs that improve health outcomes and reduce disparities. As Policy and Operations Manager at the Mayor’s Office of Racial Equity, he ensures racial equity in service delivery. Dr. Leak holds a Doctor of Public Health from UCLA, a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University, and a bachelor’s in health science from Slippery Rock University.

Secretary of Planning and Management of the State of Ceará, holding a master's degree in business administration and a specialization in Accounting and Control from Unifor. She has degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, and Psychology. A fiscal auditor since 1990, she has led the incorporation of race- and gender-sensitive budgeting in Brazil since 2023.

Representative of the IDB Group in Brazil, leading over 100 professionals across Brasilia and São Paulo, coordinating support for public and private sectors, and innovation efforts through IDB Lab. With 23 years at IDB, he has been Representative in Uruguay and Ecuador, and Principal Advisor to the Vice-Presidency. He holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in international development from Brown University and is a Fulbright fellow.
