What is an instructor-led online course?
The online instructor-led courses are offered in a personalized mode with a limited number of participants per class. Start and finish dates are clearly marked. Besides the online tools used for interaction in the virtual environment, courses provide students with continuous support from a technical assistant, the tutor and a program coordinator, who are experts in the course topics, and are able to offer effective feedback in all course activities and promote relevant discussion.

ABOUT THIS COURSE
Explores the rationale and practices of meaningful consultation under IDB policies. This five-week online course addresses mandatory requirements, international practices and recommendations to improve stakeholder participation in consultation processes.
This five-week online course, with an average dedication of 50 hours, offers an overview of the principles and content that must be present for a consultation process to be considered "meaningful." Since it is not feasible to discuss all possible circumstances in detail, the course reflects on the principles and gives general guidance, rather than a standard model or treating them as "one size fits all".
