ABOUT THIS COURSE

This course consists of 4 modules, with the opportunity to extend the path with two additional modules:

  • The first path (general path), of four modules, is designed for personnel involved in the management of financial credits that require an Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS)
  • The extended path of an additional two modules is aimed at those responsible for the implementation and supervision of an ESMS

Once the course is completed, participants can recognize the importance of social and environmental risk management for financial institutions. IDB Invest, eco.Business Fund, Finance in Motion, and Futuris Consulting developed this course.

AUDIENCE OF THE COURSE

The course is aimed at professionals in the financial sector involved in the design and implementation of an ESMS or financing that requires ESMS implementation. Minimum technical requirements of the participant:

- Software for viewing and downloading PDF documents.
- Adequate internet connection.
- Email account.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
