About us
The IDBx Program is a part of the various training opportunities offered by the Inter-American Institute for Economic and Social Development of the IDB. It includes MOOCs, SPOCs and strategic consultancies to bring open knowledge to Latin America and the Caribbean.
Since 2014 our courses have been housed in the Harvard-MIT edX platform and aim to promote continued access to high quality training and capacity building options for individuals who are invested in the development of the region.
Through the IDBx Program, the IDB is committed to the advancement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the region; especially SDG 4 - “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”.
