Course on the Financial Discipline Law for States and Municipalities in Mexico (ES)

Competencies: 

The online instructor-led courses are offered in a personalized mode with no more than 30 students in each class. Start and finish dates are clearly marked. Besides the online tools used for interaction in the virtual environment, courses provide students with continuous support from a technical assistant, the tutor and a program coordinator, who are experts in the course topics, and are able to offer effective feedback in all course activities and promote relevant discussion.

ABOUT THIS COURSE: 

This is a 5-week course that aims at strengthening the knowledge and skills of public employees in implementing the new Financial Discipline Law for States and Municipalities in México. Following the structure of the Law, the course will focus on its 5 axes: Budget Discipline Rules, Alerts System, Debt Contracting, State Debt Guaranteed and Unique Public Registration (RPU)

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS: 
This course is addressed to public employees working on finances at the subnational level (Planning, Budget, Auditing, etc). Preferentially public employees working at the Finance Department at the state level or at the Treasury Department at the Municipal Level.
